Hi my name is Guy. This is my twin, Lance. We’ve been a team - well, all our lives actually - but in the photography and videography business for about 25 years now. If your event calls for a second cameraman, we call our brother, Sean. Between us, we have worked together to capture thousands of events. We started with a store front studio on Forest Avenue in Locust Valley. About 12 years ago I moved to Suffolk County and set up studio in our Bohemia residence. My wife, Thelma, manages the studio and does all the editing and retouching in-house. Lance continues to run our "sister" company (Northern Light Photography) in Nassau County. Needless to say, we are a “family affair”.

Through the years, we have always stayed on the cutting edge of technology using the best equipment available. Your event will be shot with 3-chip digital video cameras using low 1 lux illumination so that we can remain as unobtrusive as possible, without sacrificing superior quality. We also utilize tiny UHF wireless microphones that enhance audio for those special vows or speeches. Your photos will be taken with professional high resolution digital cameras guaranteed to provide you with state of the art quality prints to preserve all your precious memories. We can shoot (both photo and video) in color, black & white, sepia or a combination of all three.

Because VideoGuys is a small, family-run operation, we pride ourselves in providing you with individualized attention and personalized , friendly service. We understand the nervous tension and overwhelming emotions brought on from planning your special day. From the moment you walk through our door until we deliver your captured event, you will always have the luxury of dealing with only ONE person who will be fully knowledgeable of YOUR specific desires. Whatever your budget, we will find a way to make our packages meet your specific needs.

If you’re not sure what those specific needs are yet, don’t worry. Come to the Studio, sit down, have a cup of coffee...Our vast experience has taught us all the various traditions of most religions and/or cultures. We’ll share our knowledge, you share your dreams and visions, and together we’ll come up with a plan to make your occasion beautiful. You want an Engagement Session?? We’ll provide the Champagne! You want a Photo Montage or Picture Board??? We’ll work together to get that right over to you a week before your event! You want to enhance your memories with those special pre-ceremony moments??? We will go anywhere you want! We only book one event per day so for the entire day we are at your disposal! Our goal is to make you feel relaxed and comfortable so that you can enjoy your event without interruption knowing that every detail you so painstakingly planned for will be captured.

And after your event is over you can rest assured that we will take the same utmost care to continue to work with you to create that special album and video that accurately depicts all the images, emotions, energy and special beauty of your day. We are the professionals, but you will always be the boss. You have a special song you want added to your video during the various sequences? No problem. You want to get rid of those dark circles under your eyes in your otherwise favorite portrait? We’ll take care of it. The total process takes time. We will work hard to get you your initial proofs and basic editing of your video within 4 to 6 weeks of your event. But we will never jeopardize our quality and workmanship to rush a product out. Preserving memories is our profession, making people happy is our joy.
